The Workplace Manager will join the global Workplace Operations team to own and elevate the day-to-day experience of Harvey's Sydney office, ensuring a high-quality, operationally seamless environment. This role is responsible for shaping the physical environment, vendor relationships, and office culture to support the growing APAC presence, partnering closely with various internal teams to maintain the high standards set in more established locations.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end workplace operations for the Sydney office, including facilities, vendor coordination, and logistics.
- Develop and implement local workplace programs, events, and initiatives to foster a productive and welcoming employee experience.
- Oversee relationships with building management, service vendors, and contractors, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with People Operations, IT, Finance, and local leadership to align workplace strategy with business needs.
- Contribute to global workplace standards and playbooks, adapting them for the APAC region while ensuring consistency across all Harvey offices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in workplace operations, office management, or facilities coordination, preferably in a high-growth or technology environment.
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships, budgets, and office build-outs or transitions.
- Strong organizational skills with a bias for action and meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience operating autonomously in a smaller or satellite office setting while adhering to global standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across time zones and functions.
