As a Strategy & Operations team member on the Product Partnerships team, you will be responsible for the analytical foundation of how Anthropic values data and product partnerships. You will develop valuation frameworks to guide investment decisions and act as an analytical partner during negotiations. This role requires strong analytical rigor, the ability to think broadly about the technology and content ecosystem, and comfort with ambiguity, seamlessly transitioning between high-level strategy and detailed analysis.
Responsibilities
- Own and develop valuation frameworks for data and product partnerships.
- Build valuation models, partnership evaluation frameworks, and ROI analyses.
- Maintain a benchmark library of comparable transactions and conduct industry research.
- Serve as the internal expert on partnership spend, historical transactions, and future planning.
- Address complex challenges by preparing analyses and recommendations.
- Review inbound proposals and pricing, providing analytical insights for deal leads.
- Develop data-driven negotiation strategies and support novel partnership structures.
- Design scalable systems and processes to enhance team efficiency, potentially leveraging AI tools.
- Build dashboards and reporting infrastructure for tracking portfolio health, deal pipeline, and key metrics.
- Optimize the partnership lifecycle from sourcing to feedback loops.
- Act as a liaison between Partnerships, Research, Product, and Finance teams to resolve operational challenges.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, growth equity, venture capital, or internal strategy/operations at a technology company.
- Exceptional analytical skills and advanced proficiency in financial modeling.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to independently own and drive workstreams from inception to decision.
- Ability to form and defend opinions while remaining open to evolving data.
- Capacity to quickly learn unfamiliar subject matter and identify value drivers.
- Experience building processes and systems from scratch.
- Instinct to leverage AI for repetitive analyses.
- Excitement about Anthropic's mission to build safe, transformative AI systems.

- Annual compensation range: $205,000 - $240,000 USD
